BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s Kaden Metheny hit a pair of key 3-pointers in the final four minutes, and the Falcons used a strong finish to outlast Ohio 88-79 in a Mid-American Conference men’s basketball game on Saturday at the Stroh Center.
BGSU improved to 8-7 overall and 2-0 in the MAC with its fourth straight win. Ohio fell to 8-7 (0-2 MAC).
Metheny poured in 25 points, while Rashaun Agee added 16 off the bench for the Falcons.
A.J. Brown and Dwight Wilson III both had 17 points to lead Ohio.
