BOWLING GREEN — In a game in which Central Michigan maintained a lead for the entirety of the first half, Bowling Green State University fought valiantly in the second half and forced two overtimes, before ultimately suffered a 77-76 loss to the Chippewas in a Mid-American Conference matchup at the Stroh Center.
In regulation, the Falcons went up by five (62-57) with 3:43 to go following Trey Thomas’ basket. However, they went scoreless the final three plus minutes.
Central Michigan pulled to within three on a Paul McMillan IV jumper at the 3:05 mark.
