KENT, Ohio — Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team shot just 32 percent and failed to reach 60 points for the first time this season in a 75-57 Mid-American Conference loss at Kent State on Tuesday at the M.A.C. Center.
The Falcons lost their fourth straight game — a first in two seasons under head coach Todd Simon — in falling to 7-13 (2-6 MAC). The Golden Flashes improved to 13-7 (4-4).
Kent State took advantage of an eight-minute field goal drought from BGSU that stretched from Wilguens Jr. Exacte’s 3-pointer with 5:25 left in the first half to his layup with 17:12 remaining.
