BOWLING GREEN — Despite a bumpy ride at times, Bowling Green won its final tuneup game before Mid-American Conference play by defeating Division II Purdue Northwest 88-67 on Thursday at the Stroh Center.
The victory was Bowling Green’s third straight to improve to 3-1 on the season.
What happened: The Falcons looked to be running away with the game midway through the first half. BG led 34-18 when the Pride made a 15-0 run that cut Bowling Green's lead to one.
Despite shooting 15-for-29 from the field with seven made 3-pointers, BG held a lead of only 40-37 at halftime.
