BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team got its first win of the season while also eclipsing the century mark in a 107-43 victory over NAIA Taylor University on Monday night at the Stroh Center.
BGSU jumped out to a 15-2 advantage in the first five minutes following a bucket by Taylor to start the game. The Falcons’ Youssef Khayat hit a pair of shots, including a 3-pointer, during the opening stretch for the Falcons. He finished with 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting.
The Falcons led by 19 at 33-14 on Braelon Green’s jump shot with 8:22 remaining in the half.
