MUNCIE, Ind. — Bowling Green State University senior guard Justin Turner became the first player in program history to score 2,000 points in the Falcons’ 75-62 win at Ball State on Tuesday night.
Turner, who finished with a game-high 27 points, became just the 17th player in Mid-American Conference history to score reach 2,000 points with his first bucket of the game.
Bowling Green (12-9 overall, 8-7 Mid-American Conference) trailed 35-34 at the half, but the Falcons then outscored Ball State 41-27 in the second at Worthen Arena.
