BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University hockey completed its second weekend sweep in a row Saturday night, knocking off Lake Superior State 4-2 at the Slater Family Ice Arena.
The Falcons, who beat the Lakers 6-3 on Friday to open the two-game set, scored their most goals in one weekend this season. With last week’s pair of wins over Ferris State, BGSU is on a four-game winning streak, its best stretch of the campaign.
Ethan Scardina scored twice in the first nine minutes Saturday to get things rolling for Bowling Green, and Brett Pfoh made it 3-0 before the end of the first period.
