Last season’s Bowling Green hockey team experienced some of the highest highs and lowest lows.
The Falcons climbed to No. 5 in the USCHO.com poll in January, its highest national ranking since the 2006-07 season. But they struggled as the season went on, eventually losing to Northern Michigan in the WCHA quarterfinals series and missing out on the NCAA tournament.
BGSU went 5-4-1 in its final 10 games.
“We don't want to talk about last year a lot, because we have so many new players and a bunch of turnover,” Falcons coach Ty Eigner said Tuesday during the Central Collegiate Hockey Association media day.
