BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s hockey team will be entering some unfamiliar territory on Saturday.
The Falcons are in a position in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association tournament where two- and three-game series in the regular season and quarterfinals are a thing of the past.
“I don’t know how many of our guys have been in this situation, how many have gotten to that single-game elimination. It’s tough,” BGSU coach Dennis Williams said. “... But really at the end of the day, for me, it’s all about just understanding that sure, it’s a 60-minute game, and for what it’s worth, everything’s on the line.
