BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University hockey team has a winning record yet again after a 2-1 home victory over Rochester Institute of Technology on Sunday at Slater Family Ice Arena.
With the win, the Falcons improved to 8-7-2 on the season.
The go-ahead goal came at 11:16 into the third period, as Bowling Green’s Ryan O’Hara notched an even-strength goal to give the Falcons a one-goal advantage. It was O’Hara’s first goal of the season, and the assist came from Ben Doran.
BGSU notched the game’s first goal at 8:03 of the first period, an even-strength goal by Brody Waters for a 1-0 lead.
