BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s hockey team opened its 2020-21 season in the win column, as the Falcons handled Division III foe Adrian College 6-2 on Friday at the Slater Family Ice Arena.
A three-goal barrage in the second period put the game out of reach.
Already with a 1-0 lead after a first-period goal from Chase Danol, three different scorers decided to join the fray in the second. Brandon Kruse netted the Falcons’ second goal just 40 seconds into the period unassisted. The Falcons went on a power play, where Max Johnson buried BGSU’s third goal 4:26 into the period.
