BOWLING GREEN — Ryan O’Hara scored the go-ahead goal with just under five minutes left to give Bowling Green State University a 3-2 lead, and Taylor Schneider scored an empty-net goal as time expired to give the Falcons a 4-2 Central Collegiate Hockey Association win over Bemidji State on Friday night at Slater Family Ice Arena.
O’Hara’s 10th goal of the season, off assists from Austen Swankler and Ben Wozney, helped BGSU win its fifth straight game to improve to 13-12 (10-7 CCHA).
Bemidji State dropped to 9-7-5 (7-3-3 CCHA).
BGSU’s Quinn Emerson scored a short-handed goal early in the second period to tie the game at 1-1, and Emerson found Jaden Grant for a short-handed goal midway through the third to give the Falcons a 2-1 lead.
