BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Bowling Green State University hockey team lost its second game in as many days to Bemidji State, falling 3-1 to the Beavers at Sanford Center.
A pair of unassisted goals in the third period lifted Bemidji State (5-4-2) to the victory.
Bowling Green (14-4-0), ranked No. 5 in the latest USCHO ranking, finishes 1-3 versus Bemidji State this season. The teams split a series at BGSU in early January.
Bemidji State opened the scoring with 50 seconds remaining in the first period, as Owen Sillinger netted an even-strength opportunity. Bowling Green found the equalizer midway through the second period, as Garrett Daly found the back of the net for his first goal of the season, assisted by Max Johnson and Brandon Kruse.
