SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. — Bowling Green State University hockey swept a two-game weekend set on the road in conference play for the first time this season, beating Lake Superior State 3-1 on Saturday night.
The Falcons, who defeated the Lakers 3-0 on Friday, won their fourth straight game overall to improve to 10-7-2 on the season with a 6-4-2 mark in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
Bowling Green got on the board twice in the first period. Brett Pfoh made it 1-0 just before the midway point of the first, tallying with assists from Ethan Scardina and Ben Wozney.
