BGSU hockey falls 2-1 at home to St. Thomas

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University hockey team saw its three-game winning streak come to an end with a 2-1 loss to St. Thomas in Central Collegiate Hockey Association play Saturday at Slater Family Ice Arena.

There was no score until the first minute of the second period when St. Thomas got on the board via a power play. Lucas Wahlin put it in the back of the net for the Tommies.

St. Thomas (12-13-5, 9-9-4 CCHA) added a third-period goal, again off the stick of Wahlin at the 8:16 mark, giving the visitors a 2-0 edge.
