HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Bowling Green State University hockey team forced overtime with Will Cullen’s equalizing goal in the third period, and Alex Barber’s power-play goal in overtime lifted the Falcons over Alabama Huntsville 4-3 Friday at the Von Braun Center.
The game-winner was Barber’s second goal of the game. He scored another power-play goal in the second period.
Cameron Wright also had a goal for BGSU (18-13-4, 13-10-4 WCHA).
Brandon Kruse charted two assists for the Falcons. Max Johnson, Connor Ford, Casey Linkenheld, and Alec Rauhauser added one assist apiece.
