MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Bowling Green State University men’s hockey team suffered its fourth straight loss on Saturday night, falling 1-0 to Northern Michigan at Berry Events Center. The Falcons, who lost to the Wildcats 4-1 on Friday, end the regular season with a record of 13-20-1 overall and 11-12-1-2 in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
The difference in the contest came in the second period when Northern Michigan’s Connor Eddy marked an even-strength goal. Andre Ghantous and Kristof Papp assisted on the scoring play for the Wildcats (11-14).
Northern Michigan fired 78 shots to BGSU’s 59, with a 26-20 edge in shots on goal.
