ST. PAUL — Bowling Green’s Jack Blake scored the game-winning goal deep into a shootout for Bowling Green as the Falcons picked up the 3-2 win over St. Thomas in a back-and-forth Central Collegiate Hockey Association game Friday.
The Falcons (5-3-1, 2-0-1 CCHA) never led during regulation and remained all square with Tommies through two extra periods before the decisive goal.
St. Thomas (2-5-3, 1-2-2 CCHA) got things going when Matthew Gleason found the back of the net with 17:30 left in the first frame.
With 4:15 left in the first, Brett Pfoh made things even when he scored his third goal of the season for the Falcons.
