BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s football team might have had its Mid-American Conference title hopes dashed with its 28-12 loss to Miami (Ohio) on Friday at Doyt Perry Stadium, but that doesn’t mean the Falcons’ season is over just yet.
A veteran squad with more than 50 combined seniors and juniors — most of whom have been critical parts of the revival of BGSU’s program the past several years — is still bowl eligible, and the general consensus with some of the Falcons’ top players is that they want to take advantage of an opportunity to play together one final time.
