BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s football team has a pretty high-profile game next weekend at Michigan.
The last thing the Falcons are doing this week, though, is taking Eastern Illinois for granted.
After coming up short at Liberty in a game coach Scot Loeffler felt his team “let one slip away,” BGSU will be facing an NCAA Football Championship Series squad in Eastern Illinois that, despite winning its season opener last week, had just an 8-43 record from 2018 to 2022.
