BOWLING GREEN — Head coach Scot Loeffler teased it on Twitter, and right at 6 p.m. Tuesday as he promised, Bowling Green State University’s football team landed its latest recruit.
Defensive end Nate Pabst, a 6-foot-6, 240-pound defensive end from Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller, announced his committment on Twitter.
“I am officially closing my recruiting and committing to continue my academic and football career at Bowling Green State University,” Pabst wrote in part. “I’m going to the moon! Go Falcons!”
Pabst chose Bowling Green over fellow Mid-American Conference schools Akron, Kent State, Ball State, and Miami, and he held offers from Vanderbilt and Pittsburgh.
