BOWLING GREEN — Christmas Day brought a new addition to Bowling Green football’s 2024 roster as Malcolm Johnson, Jr., a wide receiver for the past three seasons at Auburn, announced his commitment to transfer to BGSU.

Johnson, a former four-star recruit from Bryans Road, Md., has appeared in 24 games since 2020 as a Tiger in the Southeastern Conference, totaling 14 receptions for 199 yards and one touchdown. He announced Dec. 5 that he was entering the transfer portal with one year of eligibility remaining.
