BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s inability to close out games recently came back to haunt the Falcons once again on Saturday.
Aaron Young’s 3-yard touchdown run with 24 seconds left capped off a game-winning 79-yard scoring drive as Old Dominion edged BGSU 30-27 at Doyt Perry Stadium.
The Falcons suffered their third straight loss, with each coming by seven points or less.
“We’ve got to find a way to finish. Three games that we lost by one play going the other way,” BGSU senior cornerback Jordan Oladokun said. “Hurts, but our coaches do an outstanding job and us as players, we come in every week and try to find a way to win.
