MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — When the driving rain arrived in Mount Pleasant on Tuesday night, Bowling Green State University’s football team picked it up a notch.
The Falcons made their biggest plays of the night in a remarkably challenging third quarter when the weather intensified, and it helped BGSU pull out a 23-13 Mid-American Conference victory over Central Michigan at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
“To be honest, I think it was more so the training. The training that we’ve endured through fall camp, the training that we went through all summer long, I think we were just thinking about that,” BGSU senior wide receiver Malcolm Johnson, Jr.
