ATHENS, Ohio — Bowling Green State University men’s basketball fought hard in the battle between two teams in the top half of the Mid-American Conference, but ultimately it was host Ohio University coming out on top 66-59 Friday night at the Convocation Center.
A 9-2 run for the Bobcats aided them to victory down the stretch. BGSU (17-12, 8-8 MAC) was limited to a Marcus Hill layup over the final three minutes of the contest.
After the Falcons tied it up at 57 on a pair of Rashaun Agee free throws with 2:59 to go, Ohio’s Jaylin Hunter sank a big 3-pointer 15 seconds later.
