BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — The Bowling Green State University hockey team notched a 6-2 road win at Ferris State on Saturday night to sweep a weekend home-and-home series with the Bulldogs and improve to 6-1 on the season.
Max Johnson opened the scoring for the Falcons with a goal 11 minutes into the contest.
Alex Barber tallied a goal and Cameron Wright followed that up with a goal of his own as the Falcons raced out to a 3-0 lead in the second period.
Ethan Stewart got Ferris State on the board with a power play goal 13 minutes into the second period to cut the Bulldogs’ deficit to 3-1.
