BOWLING GREEN — The single biggest worry for Bowling Green this season was attrition, and a roster lacking sufficient depth is being stretched even thinner by injuries.
The Falcons were down to one scholarship running back on Saturday’s 38-20 loss to Central Michigan at Doyt Perry Stadium.
Starter Andrew Clair did not play for the third consecutive week as he nurses a foot injury, and graduate transfer Davon Jones had to be carted off the field Saturday following what appeared to be a serious injury to his left leg.
Bowling Green coach Scot Loeffler said he did not have an update on Jones after the game, but BG played most of Saturday with a light rotation at running back.
