COLUMBUS — The struggles on the road continued for Bowling Green State University women’s basketball as the Falcons dropped their fourth game of the season away from the Stroh Center in a 96-53 loss to No. 12 Ohio State at Value City Arena on Sunday.
BGSU is 2-4 on the season after the loss, while Ohio State remained unbeaten at 5-0.
The two schools had an interesting connection going into the game. Bowling Green sophomore guard/forward Keiryn McGuff is the daughter of OSU’s 12th-year head coach, Kevin McGuff. The younger McGuff was not in uniform for the game as she continues to come back from a season-ending injury she suffered last year after playing the first 16 games.
