Kalamazoo, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University hockey team defeated No. 18 Western Michigan 6-2 on Tuesday night (Oct. 9) at Lawson Ice Arena in an early season road contest. The Falcons tallied six goals despite being outshot 36 to 19 on the evening. This thanks in large part to goaltender Ryan Bednard, who had 34 saves. Tim Theocharidis, Connor Ford, and Casey Linkenheld all extended their score streaks to two games, each of them having one goal a piece.
