DeKalb, Ill. – The Bowling Green State University baseball program split a doubleheader with the Northern Illinois Huskies on Friday (May 20). An electric first game at the plate for the Falcons headlined their performance with 11 hits and 12 runs as BGSU won 12-6. A two-out surge from Bowling Green in the second inning got the momentum started, scoring six runs off a barrage of clinical at-bats. Spots of two in the fourth, three in the fifth, and one in the seventh were enough to stifle the Huskies from finding a comeback. The Falcons were led by a four RBI game from Nathan Archer in the victory.
