BOWLING GREEN — To borrow a phrase from Aaron Rodgers, Friday’s result at the Stroh Center gave Bowling Green reason to R-E-L-A-X.
The Falcons outlasted a pesky Kent State team 77-72 to snap a two-game losing streak and win the final game of the season on their homecourt.
The victory, BG’s 20th of the season, also clinched a top-three finish in the Mid-American Conference, giving the Falcons a bye straight to the MAC tournament quarterfinals on March 14.
Justin Turner scored 18 points, Antwon Lillard had 14, and Demajeo Wiggins added 13 for the Falcons (20-9, 12-4 MAC).
