BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University basketball player Michael Laster is facing charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass for an incident July 29 at a bar in downtown Bowling Green.
The basketball team has suspended Laster indefinitely from all team activities, according to a department of athletics spokesman.The suspension was first reported by The Sentinel-Tribune.
BGSU declined further comment.
Three employees of Liquid Bar on 238 N. Main St. told Bowling Green police Laster, 21, yelled at bartenders to serve him, refused to leave the bar after being asked to do so, and threw a bottle at a bar employee, striking him in the head, according to a police report.
