BGSU baseball goes ice cold in Rochester

On April 5, the Falcons traveled to Rochester, Michigan, to face the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies. The Falcons were coming off of a three-game win streak over the Akron Zips on the past weekend, but on Tuesday, old problems reared their ugly head.

The game started with a battle between the pitchers as neither team could get on base. It was not until a late two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning from Brandon Nigh that gave the Grizzlies the lead.

This prompted the Falcons to substitute the specialty pitcher, Jeremy Spezia, for the fastball pitcher Isaiah Seidel.
