BOWLING GREEN — The department of athletics at Bowling Green State University announced Friday that it will offer furloughed federal employees free tickets to all home sporting events for the duration of the government shutdown.
The school said in a statement that the offer is based on availability and valid for any home regular-season game.
Employees at the federal level who present valid government identification at the BGSU ticket office will receive up to two free tickets, plus a voucher for a free popcorn and soft drink from the concessions stand.
According to the terms, the offer must be claimed in person and on the day of the game.
