BOWLING GREEN — Lourawls Nairn Jr. has been putting an interesting twist on what it means to be a player-coach during his time in northwest Ohio.
The Bowling Green State University associate men’s basketball head coach is certainly grateful for the opportunities he’s been presented on the court and the sidelines, and he will have another chance in a couple of weeks to do something extraordinary.
Nairn, a former Michigan State University point guard and native of Nassau, Bahamas, will represent his country by playing in a 2024 FIBA Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which begins July 2 in Valencia, Spain.
