BOWLING GREEN — For the first time since the Woodrow Wilson administration, Bowling Green started and finished a football season without a victory.
The Falcons' 0-5 record this year was the first winless season since the school's first varsity football team finished 0-3 in 1919, but 2020 was unsurpassed in ugliness. Bowling Green played 300 minutes of football in 2020, and trailed for more than 274 of them. The Falcons never held a lead and were outscored 225-57.
Along with a Massachusetts team that scored 12 points in four games, Bowling Green was at the very bottom of the Bowl Subdivision.
