BOWLING GREEN — Justin Turner sustained a hamstring injury in Bowling Green’s 91-84 overtime victory on Sunday at the Paradise Jam tournament in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The Falcons’ leading scorer scored 10 points in 20 minutes of action, but was forced to leave the game and did not return, as BG rallied to send the game to overtime and then won.
According to Bowling Green, there is no timetable for Turner’s return. He will be further re-evaluated when the Falcons return home Tuesday.
Turner is unlikely to play when Falcons take on Nevada in the tournament championship game Monday evening.
