BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University used four power-play goals to score a season-high seven goals — and remain alive in its best-of-three Western Collegiate Hockey Association first-round playoff series.
The Falcons staved off elimination with a 7-2 victory over Bemidji State at the BGSU Ice Arena, knotting the series at 1-1 after the Beavers won Friday.
Third-seeded Bowling Green (21-13-6) and Bemidji State (17-15-6), the sixth seed, will meet again at 7 p.m. today in a winner-take-all contest at the BG Ice Arena.
The winner will advance to the WCHA’s Final Five at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich.
