BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University football team closes the season today with a game against Buffalo that might give Falcon fans a glimpse into the thinking of coach Mike Jinks for the seasons to come.
For example, will BG continue to feature a run-first offense in this contest, which kicks off at 2:30 p.m. at Doyt Perry Stadium?
It would continue a trend from the past two games, both victories, in which the Falcons featured the running game. Bowling Green ran for 218 yards and four touchdowns in a win at Akron, then followed that with 66 run plays for 420 yards and four more scores in a home victory against Kent State.
