BG men suffer overtime loss at Central Michigan

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team suffered an 81-77 overtime loss to Central Michigan in a first-round Mid-American Conference tournament contest played at CMU’s McGuirk Arena Monday.

The Falcons (16-16), the ninth seed in the tournament, were led offensively by Justin Turner and Antwon Lillard with 17 points apiece. Daequon Plowden added 11 as BG finished the season with six straight losses.

Eighth-seeded Central Michigan (19-13) had five players finish in double figures. Cecil Williams scored 18, 11 coming in overtime, while Luke Meyer had 16, Shawn Roundtree 15, Kevin McKay 14 and David DiLeo 12.
