BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team escaped with a 109-106 overtime victory over Division II Lake Erie College at the Stroh Center Monday.
Springfield High School graduate Demajeo Wiggins scored 25 points to lead five players in double figures for the Falcons (3-1). Dylan Frye finished with 19 points, and Rodrick Caldwell had 18 while Anthony Wayne product Matt Fox and Nelly Cummings each added 12.
Lake Erie, which will count the contest as an exhibition game in its season’s record, had six players score in double digits. St. John’s Jesuit grad Gabe Kynard finished with a game-high 28 points, while former Titan Harrison Riggs had 12.
