BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green hockey team is headed to Allentown, Pa., in the first round of the NCAA hockey tournament.
The Falcons, who were the last at-large team admitted into the field, will take on defending national champion Minnesota-Duluth in the first round.
Duluth will be the No. 1 seed in the Allentown Region, while the Falcons are No. 4.
Bowling Green finished No. 15 in the PairWise rankings that determine the field, while Duluth is second. The Bulldogs defeated St. Cloud State 3-2 in double overtime to win the NCHC championship on Saturday night.
