BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University scored four goals in the second period and cruised to a 7-2 victory over Michigan Tech in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association contest at the Slater Family Ice Arena Friday.
The Falcons, who entered the weekend ranked No. 14 in the latest national poll, improved to 17-8-6 overall and 14-4-5-2 in WCHA play with their fifth consecutive victory.
Michigan Tech fell to 13-12-5 and 9-9-5-2 in league play.
Mitch McLain, Jacob Dalton, Frederic Letourneau and Max Johnson had the second-period goals for BG, with Dalton scoring on the power play.
