HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Bowling Green State University hockey team scored three third-period goals on the way to a 4-2 victory over Alabama-Huntsville on Sunday afternoon in the final regular-season contest of the season for the Falcons.
Bowling Green finishes the regular season on a three-game winning streak and a record of 19-8-1 and will host a series in the WCHA playoffs beginning March 12.
Connor Ford struck twice in the final period with a power-play goal to start the surge and an empty-net goal in the final minute of the game. In between those two goals, Sam Craggs scored an even-strength tally.
