The Bowling Green women's basketball team gave league-leading Central Michigan a scare on Saturday (Feb. 15), coming all the way back from a double-digit deficit, but the Chippewas ultimately escaped with an 82-75 win in Mid-American Conference action in Mount Pleasant.
BGSU trailed by as many as 16 points, but the Falcons rallied all the way back, taking the lead on a three-point play by Caterrion Thompson with 4:03 to go. The Chippewas (19-4, 12-0 MAC) responded with a Molly Davis three-pointer, however, to regain the lead for good.
Thompson came off the bench to score 20 points, pacing four double-figure scorers for the Falcons.
