Senior Erica Hubert scored in the 78th minute and junior Kathleen Duwve made a career-high 13 saves, as the Bowling Green State University women's soccer team battled DePaul University to a 1-1 draw Thursday evening (Sept. 13). The non-conference, double-overtime match was held at Cochrane Stadium.
The teams combined for 39 shot attempts, putting 19 on goal, but Duwve and DePaul goalkeeper Mollie Eriksson stood tall, with neither allowing a goal for over 77 minutes of play. Finally, the Falcons broke through.
Junior Chelsee Washington's through ball sent Hubert down the right side of the field and into the penalty area.
