BOWLING GREEN — Just four days after coming out of nowhere to clinch a Mid-American Conference title, the Bowling Green State University women's basketball did not rest on that surprise coronation.
The Falcons rolled to a fifth consecutive win with a convincing 82-65 victory over Kent State on Wednesday night at the Stroh Center.
Bowling Green improved to 18-4 overall and 14-3 in the MAC.
The young Falcons, who clinched the MAC regular-season championship with a win over Akron on Saturday, did not rest on those laurels. Eight players scored and four reached double figures in points.
