BOWLING GREEN — David Konowalski has seen just about everything at Bowling Green.
The sixth-year senior has been around for the highs and the lows, won a Mid-American Conference championship, been to bowl games, seen friends go to the National Football League, been through his fair share of coaching changes, and been named a captain by his peers.
But there is one notable — and, for him, maddening — exception: BG has not been able to end its long drought against rival Toledo.
Konowalski saw two division championships and a conference title in his first two years with the Falcons, but has yet to hold the Battle of I-75 trophy.
