The Falcon baseball team was defeated by the Cincinnati Bearcats in both games of a Sunday afternoon doubleheader. Cincinnati claimed the first game 4-3 in 10 innings, before taking the second game 4-3 as well.
In the first game, the Falcons grabbed the lead first with an RBI single with senior catcher Joe McGuinness hitting an RBI single. But the lead would not last long, as junior center fielder Jeremy Johnson hit an RBI sacrifice fly to tie the game up. The Falcons would respond in the fourth inning as McGuinness hit his second RBI of the game on an RBI single to take a 2-1 lead.
