BOWLING GREEN — Six Bowling Green State University players scored at least seven points as the Falcons used a balanced effort offensively to knock off Northern Illinois 74-60 in a Mid-American Conference women’s basketball game on Saturday at the Stroh Center.
The Falcons (9-8, 3-3 MAC) never trailed in picking up their second straight victory. The Huskies fell to 7-10 (1-5 MAC).
BGSU had 28 bench points. Jasmine Fearne tallied 11 points and five rebounds, while Johnea Donahue chipped in eight points and three steals to lead the Falcons off the bench.
Lexi Fleming scored all 15 of her points in the first half as BGSU took a 39-24 lead.
